Chapter Ten: Your Promotion Comes with a Complementary Stethoscope!

Last time, Vicky Schofield tried to put the moves on Gee, Mikey tried and failed to become good friends with Keisha, and we had our first light burglar! Exciting! More excitement to come.

This is how much land they actually have, and yet they have a crapshack and limited funds. The distance from the house you see is the same behind it as well.

Keisha comes home with Mikey the day of the burglary. Take two of trying to be her good friend. However, Mikey would rather yell at the fridge for having spoiled food.

So they got sent this pretty arrangement from a secret admirer. I wonder who.
I think the flies from the dirty plates really complete it, ya know?

Mikey has to head to work, leaving Keisha home alone with Gee. Uh-oh.

She steals Gee's computer chair right away. First to read, then...

She does this for the next few hours.

Uh-oh. Looks like Gee's getting tired of his pretties. :(((

However, he's still possessive of his computer. Keisha pays no mind.

..until he turns his back.

Then she stalks him outside.
Sometimes I'm sure of how Keisha feels about Gee...

...then she does stuff like this. I can't read this girl anymore. Watch out, Mikey.

Gee is clueless. Also, this is probably my favourite Sims shot of all time.

Gee's foregone his inappropriate forum posts in favour of meeting new people. It's at this moment when looking through his relationships to see who he met (I think it was a teenager. Bad Gee!) that I find out that shirtless guy in front of the diner, when Gee was on his lunch date with Cherry, was in fact Keisha's dad. Annnnd Gee actually works with both Keisha's parents, Jasmin and Ruben Brewster. Fun!

Mikey's having...scary dreams.

But then I'm satisfied when this thought bubble pops up next. Yes, Mikey, love is death. Be afraid.

They have breakfast together the next morning. Yay! I love it when Sims actually act like a family.

Just when I thought they couldn't get any cuter, Gee joins Mikey autonomously gardening. Look at the brothers getting along!

Mikey breaks the toilet just by randomly sitting on it. Not sure how that happened, but his existential crisis face made me snicker.

He then uses the bed to change his outfit before school. I guess it works when you don't have a telephone booth nearby.

Maybe I was a little early on that whole brotherly bonding thing. Mikey's taxi driver murders Gee's carpool.

After school, Mikey's on the quest once again to become Keisha's good friend. Like usual, she's not expecting much and Mikey's pining after her. I swear, Mikey, if you roll a wish to kiss her after this...

ANYWAY, maybe you recognized the house behind them. Or maybe you recognized this house next to the park they're at?

Or maaaaybe you recognized the park they're at?
Keisha and Mikey just stare at each other for most of the group outing. *sigh* Like usual. These two are hopeless. Notice that girl in the background?

That's Cora, Keisha's younger sister. And apparently her chaperone.

Keisha immediately follows Cora, quietly crying for help, but Mikey's a little...clingy.
Cora's justifiably horrified.

Soon Mikey has to head off tho work and this happens. I don't know if I blew it up big enough for you to see, so I'll just tell you what it says.
The balloon in the corner is about Mikey's promotion: "Congratulations! Mikey's impressive performance has earned him a promotion to Overseer of the Dead, as well as a bonus of 444 simoleans! Guarding the Mausoleum gates mights sound easy, but sorting the living from the dead can be hard work!"
The middle balloon was the wish he got immediately after: "Get Fired: Too much success can be scary for some Sims. Your Sim would like to relieve the pressure by getting fired."
I would facepalm if it weren't so hilarious.

Gee had to work late so they both get home at the same time and have this stare off.
Mikey: Get a real job, Gee.
Gee: Take a shower sometime, Mikey.
Sheesh! What happened?

His promotion's still haunting him.

Wow. This promotion has got him reeeeeally shook up if he's actually getting mad Gee's taking a bath because he wants to take one.

Once again, Vicky calls in the middle of the night to have a date. This time at the swimming pool.
Oh hey, look! Sameh's here. Hi, Sameh!
Gee gazes longingly at the taxi before it pulls away, wishing there were an escape.

Oh, crap. Now they're talking about babies. Why, Gee?!

But when she tries to flirt yet again, Gee reacts accordingly.

Actually, he reacts so badly he immediately feels the need to take a shower right there at the swimming pool even though he just took a bath.

Vicky just swims away her sadness. Huh, I guess her hair shrinks when she swims.

After his shower, Gee changes into his pajamas and passes out right there.
Consistently, Vicky just abandons him.

They get this picture in the mail the next day.
I'm sensing a pattern here.
