Chapter Fifteen: Monies and Honeys

Last time, Gee had an interesting trip to the gym. Mikey didn't really feature in it at all because he was at school and doing an opportunity after, but let's see what he's up to now.

Mikey's opportunity was to work for a day at the business office. And he actually dressed appropriately for the occasion! Which I can only assume means he was doing some future Emperor of Evil-like stuff in there. That's still hard to wrap my head around. Mikey as a criminal is going to be hilarious.

He's still not friends with Janice, so he calls her up and she heads over.

Janice: Good job being a great student by doing your homework!
It comes out more patronizing than she probably means it.

Whoa. Whoa, WHOA! Mikey the Coward is flirting autonomously! And Janice is into it! And his speech bubble is talking about them dating and holding hands! What?! What about Latrice?

He finds out she's into it 'cause she's Flirty. Oh boy.

Crap.

Because he's a goody-two-shoes, Mikey takes off as soon as curfew hits. Janice runs after him.

Back at home, Gee has stolen Mikey's bed. Poor thing. We'll make some money soon so you have one of your own.

Sameh got a girl! And it's LuLu! Remember her from the housewarming party?
Also, I found out something interesting. Remember Felecia at the diner that I pointed out before? She's Sameh's mom. No wonder they both have those cool eyes! She's also a criminal. Now I'm starting to understand Mikey. He knew his lifetime wish far before he made it known.

In the morning, Mikey, for the first time ever, digs in the trash, where he finds unspeakable horrors. (Actually he didn't find anything, but he made this face so I assume whatever he did find was thrown back in and never acknowledged again.)

I'm not sure why, but Gee gets out of bed just to go pass out in his nonexistant room. Okay, I get the picture! I'll find a way to get you a bed.

Mikey: Oh gosh, I killed him!
You're going to make a fine criminal with that attitude, Mikey Way.

This one's a special one just for Megan. Z.
XD

Poor Mikey only gets a few minutes in his bed before he has to get ready for school.

Apparently the new mailman is into Mikey.
Mailman-I-Forgot-the-Name-of: Call me!

Yay! They got sent more gifts! Sorry whoever sent them. We have to sell them. Bye!

And Gee gets a room! Even if it is minimalistic.

This is what it looks like when you walk in the room. Cozy!

After Gee gets off of work we have enough for him to get a bed and start what will later be their bathroom.
And now, some Story Progression news!

Keisha + manual labour = HAH!
Aw! Cherry's now working with her fiance! I wonder if it's because of Vicky.
See? What'd I tell you? Criminal. I wonder if the Gosses are a whole crime family.

Keisha comes home with Mikey again, buuuut this time he didn't come home with her.

Keisha: I will wait. o_o

As soon as Latrice comes out of the school, Mikey hightails it for the taxi. I guess things are still awkward.

Keisha decides to go inside right as Gee is leaving for work. He shoots the camera this look as he sprints by.

She acts indifferent, but check out that look.

She sits down to reread Murder in Pleasantview for the fifth time, all alone in the Way house.

Mikey decided to stop and do his homework in the middle of nowhere rather than return home and spend time with Keisha. Go, Mikey!
The black circle is his school, the yellow circle is their house, and the purple circle near the center is where he stopped. All he did was take a taxi just around the corner from the school. I love it.

Finally realizing tha neither Way wants anything to do with her, Keisha heads back home. Yes, go!

THANK YOU, MIKEY!!! I don't know if you can see it, but the place he picked to do his homework is LITTERED with shinies! And one of them ends up being PLUTONIUM! Which is worth like 1,500 simoleans! Getting it smelted so it's worth even more.

However, he's not happy I'm making him collect them all. C'mon, man. It means more money and more money means a bigger room!

Or maybe it's because he knows the stink is creeping up on him.

This is his new work attire. Apparently being a gravedigger means you need to look your best. And be barefoot. However, Mikey isn't heading to work. And despite having getting fired as one of his wishes still, he's not very happy about that fact.

This is a picture of Woodrow to remind me to tell you a few things:
1) He moved out of the overcrowded Brewster house into a two-bedroom home across town in the more country part of Riverview. I wonder if Dara went with him or got a house of her own.
2) He is now getting serious with one of the Lobos twins, Anita.
3) He's also one of the many Sims working with Gee now. I believe Dara is, too. If so, then all adults in the Brewster family are in the Athletic career!

A few hours later, Mikey heads to this giant of a mansion.

Mikey has yet another rich acquaintance he wants to become friends with, Cory Farrar. She looks really happy to see him.

She has a dad named Einstein, and he's got the crazy hair to warrant it.

Mikey schmoozes, but Einstein looks like he wants to kill him. I love you Einstein.

I forgot to mention one tiny detail about Woodrow's relationship: Anita is underground. She's glitched out like Skip did before. This is them hugging.

I must've missed something while watching Woodrow and Anita 'cause when I come back to Mikey, Cory is seriously chewing him out. He then learns she's Hot-Headed. Why, Mikey? Why must you choose the difficult ones to befriend?

He doesn't let that stop him enjoying his night of luxury, though.

All while Cory works hard on her homework. She looks thrilled.
