Last time, we watched Megan and Gee drama unfold, found out Megan is dating an immortal, and finally saw Mikey get asked out on a date that saved my lost day. Let's jump right in and see how that date goes.
Oh, hey! Cory's brother Elisha is here, too.
Apparently something's going down, but Mikey's oblivious.
Mikey: Why can't we be friends?
Well I guess Cory and Elisha have something in common.
Mikey: STOP...in the name of love!
I think Mikey's broken.
You can see how the rest of that date went.
Back at home, Gee decides to take a sponge bath, even with a perfectly good tub right next to him.
And it looks like Gee has finally accepted his bed as his own.
Looks like Anita and Woodrow are getting married! And he got a new haircut just for the occasion!
Early the next morning, Mikey chows down on pizza with the Ways new fly relatives.
I'm guessing things with Latrice are still a little awkward, especially when he stares at one of her gifts like this.
He retires to the bathtub to think this over.
Sameh's caught yet another girl, Patrice Swift. Like the Brewsters, they bond by reading together.
Whoa. If they do end up staying together, they're definitely going to have pretty-eyed children.
After watching a few more hours alternating between this...
...and Mikey yelling at said gifts, I make an executive decision.
Mikey's inviting Latrice over.
He seems a bit nervous, even if he invited two others as well. Ruben Brewster and Cory Farrar, since he still has the wishes locked in to befriend them both.
Latrice is the first to arrive and Mikey's a bit...frazzled
But maybe Latrice is feeling just as awkward?
Ruben shows up shortly after and his face is unnerving.
Though not as unnerving as Cory's obsession with the pretties.
It's not a surprise, considering what's all over her dress, but still. *cringe* That face is gonna haunt me.
Mikey is dealing with all this by hiding in the bathtub. Good job, Mikey.
Latrice does nothing but this for like an hour. Maybe she's wanting to sit on the bathtub?
After obsessing over the pretties, Cory is the first to leave. Thanks, I guess?
Gee happily makes a plate of peanut butter and jelly for everybody else.
But Mikey's too busy making this face. Why?
Because Latrice is across the room. Doing whatever that is...
No, Gee! You're not taking this one away from Mikey, too.
Soon enough she breaks away and this happens. What a loaded look.
She joins her Dad, who's fawning over the pretties as well, to express her disgust of them. How befitting of a Coward.
Cherry calls Gee to talk through wedding plans. They're currently discussing napkin colours.
Gee: What did I get myself into...?
Cherry: What was that, hun?
Gee: Oh, nothing. Nothing.
Then they move on to the still-awkward subject of kids. Gee is 7 days away from being an elder, so it's kind of an urgent subject as well.
And so the last of Gee's plants wither away. :(
I decide to send the Brewsters and Mikey out to go do ANYTHING other than sitting at home, since Mikey won't talk to Latrice. He seems pretty pumped about this.
But maybe he shouldn't be, 'cause Latrice is driving.
