Last time, Mikey made friends with Keisha Brewster, who grew up into a teenager alongside him.

What I didn't show last time was that Gee now has 3 pretties: Frederick (Ladybug), Angela (Zephyr Metalmark), and Christi (Monarch)
We come back to Mikey trying to awkwardly talk to Keisha, making awkward faces and an awkward peace sign.
Mikey: So, like, birthdays, yeah? You had one. Um, congrats.
She gets up as soon as he starts talking. Poor Mikey.
She's got other things on her mind. Like dat butt.
Mikey is depressed. See what I mean about a hidden Gloomy trait?
Quick intermission to explain why Mikey looks a bit different. I got bit by the CC bug after finding out which sites were safe to get it from. His hair is Sims 3 Store hair, but his skin and eyes are Custom Content. I love the skin because of what it does to noses! And lip sculpting! And those realistic eyelids! You'll see more clearly with Gee later on. (Also, just be prepared for random hair changes and some fabulous hair because I love some of them so much. ANNNND I just recently found a curly hair website so I'm going bonkers because I love curly hair.)
I also gave Mikey a moustache because it just seemed to fit. Don'tcha love it?

Keisha doesn't seem to be too concerned with Mikey's feelings. Or makeover.
Her obsession carries on to Gee's pretties as well.
Because she's sleeping over and because I'm kiiiiinda sooooorta nice I give her a loveseat to nap on. It breaks their budget.
In his dreams, Mikey's trying to convince Keisha to move in.
After her nap, Keisha just sits there and stares at Mikey. Weeeeeell, THAT'S not creepy.
Poor girl has to pee so badly, but there's only a urinal. Sorry, hun, that's what happens when you're in a broke all-male household.
Luckily, she leaves before she can pee herself, with one last creepy look at Mikey. And it's now we actually get a good look at her features. Woooow. Talk about "glow up."
I guess now Mikey feels the need to dress up for school. That quickly changes however when he actually gets there. Still showing off that manly bald chest, I see. Maybe it's only Agent P he dresses up for.
Gee isn't spared from the CC bug. Now he has an actual hippie wig.
Gee: Excuse me! It's Fabio extensions. *flips hair*
Gee breaks his computer and seems pretty happy about it. They have like, maybe $12 so they can't afford a repairman. Gee then gets the wish to FIX IT HIMSELF. Are you TRYING to get yourself killed?!
Because I'm afraid he's going to seriously die, I send him to the library to read up on Handiness again. He has maaaaaaybe 2 levels at this point. I mean, I've had sims miraculously fix stuff at just level 1 of Handiness, but they didn't have luscious flammable-product-filled locks.
*cue Mandatory Luscious Flammable-product-filled Locks Appreciation photos*
Mikey meets this guy, Daniel Wang, at school (even though Dan's obviously playing hooky at the library). Hey, look who's in the background! Recognize Larry? Yeah, they're roomies.
Mikey's stressed after school, so of course the best stress relief is screaming at yourself half-naked outside the school doors. Keisha's younger sister Layla is the first to find him.
She does the smart thing and gets the heck outta dodge. I feel for you Layla.
In fact, Mikey scars plenty of classmates. But he makes sure to screech to a halt as soon as he sees Keisha at the door.
Mikey: *whistling innocently*
Of course, Layla's sure to tell her the horrors of stressed swimsuit!Mikey as soon as she gets home.
A glimpse into Mikey's social life.
It parallels far too much with mine so I force him off the playground and onto the phone to make plans. As you can see he's thrilled about that.
He makes call after call, but I guess rumours have travelled pretty quickly. No one wants to hang out with him. Curse you, Layla! And other random classmates
This is Keisha's mom (I think) and one of her younger sisters (who will play a big role later on when she ages up). You can see where Keisha gets her good looks from. This picture is also to remind me to tell you that Keisha's family is either the next 19 Kids and Counting or her home is a multigenerational one. I see Brewsters popping up everywhere and am so confused about the family tree at this point. No wonder gossip traveled so fast: they basically run their own gossip mafia.
The only classmate who answers Mikey's calls is this dude. Recognize him? It's Manuel Romo, the old newspaper boy that abandoned us when Mikey met him at school.
They talk about Agent P's crazy-- Hey! Keisha's family is visiting the theatre as well. *10 million wild Brewsters have appeared*
Mikey's been wanting to go see a movie for a while and I figured that the best way to befriend Manuel. Silly me forgot that the first week in a new town usually has plays/symphonies on the weekend. (Yes, that's right. We're still only on the first weekend.) Mikey's reflects this disappointment. Annnnd we have a banner!
Friendly reminder Gee still absolutely adores his pretties. He checks on them at least once a day. He seems to like Angela the best (but don't tell Frederick and Christi that).
Miraculously, he fixes it in one go. One playthrough, without having to Exit to Main Menu without Saving in order to bring his daredevil butt back to life (he doesn't even have the Daredevil trait!) and without having to attempt it more than once after getting a nonfatal shock or breaking it even more.
This man is a hero, everyone. Just look at that sober, dramatic expression. He accepts his calling.

Mikey needs to improve his Writing skill for a school project/club/some extra credit thing. Manuel creeps like an almost-friend should.
Manuel eventually tires of the blatant rejection and goes off all emo to read a book in the next room, which is dead. Maybe he's the perfect friend for Gloomy!Mikey.
Unfortunately, or fortunately depending on how you look at it, people then dash in by the droves to set their books down on Manuel's table and all the other tables in the room. Mikey's almost-friends with a celebrity! (Not really. I don't have Late Night installed. But if I did have it, he'd be a solid 3 stars.)
Eventually, that gets boring as well and he leaves this zinger of a group outing. Gloomy!Mikey is the greatest, right? Manuel sure thinks so!
In fact, everyone seems to love Mikey!
Or they could just be reacting to the fact Gee hasn't taken a shower in like days, I think. Seriously. If I want this dude to shower, I literally have to click on the shower and make him do it, and even then it's not guaranteed to happen. The exception being when he scarred poor child!Mikey with his sponge bath.
Mikey turns in relatively early while Gee stays up the whole night skilling (all that dude wants to do is skill, I'm tellin' ya).
Here's hoping when he wakes up he'll be less Gloomy, but I doubt it.
